The training manual examines the methodology of course design of general -purpose drives with a single -stage gearbox (cylindrical, conical and worm) and cuneiform or chain transmission. The procedure for calculating transmission and construction of gearboxes of gearboxes is shown, the development of a specification using a system of automated design of KOMPAS-3D is described.
