In the first volume of lectures on the theory of management, the classical problems of the theory of automatic regulation are considered, while the main attention is paid to linear systems. It is especially possible to distinguish the presentation of the principle of compensation for Schipanov with the transition to the theory of invariability. Standard horizons are also briefly outlined: nonlinear tasks, timid systems, identification, recognition of images, adaptation and training, optimal management. The presentation is distinguished by brevity and transparency.
