In the book, based on various approaches of the theory of regular solutions and a model of diffusion mass, the features of epitaxia of solid solutions based on semiconductor compounds A3V5 and A2V6 are considered. The influence of elastic deformations on the displacement of phase equilibrium in multicomponent systems is analyzed. Methods of calculating equilibrium and coherent diagrams of the state of multicomponent systems are set out. A mathematical description of the effect of stabilization of the lattice and kinetics of crystallization of multicomponent solid solutions is given. Critical phenomena and thermodynamic stability of the substrate in the nonequilibrium liquid phase are considered. Particular attention is paid to the processes of obtaining isoperiodic heterostructures based on four and five solid solutions, which are widely used in various devices of semiconductor optoelectronics.
