This manual discusses the main types of hydrocarbon raw materials both for the chemical industry as a whole, and specific examples of the extraction of semi -products and their use as monomers are given. The classification of chemical raw materials and the basic requirements for raw materials are given. The basics of technological processes of processing of all types of hydrocarbon raw materials, namely, plant, carbon and gas and oil and oil are characterized. The methods of highlighting targeted fractions and/or products, methods of cleaning them are described.
