This publication examines a set of achievements in the field of genomics, which contribute to the development of more effective, personalized approaches to the prevention and treatment of infectious and non -infectious diseases. Genetic sequencing technologies help to understand how the genomic factors of a person and pathogens (and their interactions) contribute to individual differences in immunological responses to medicinal therapy. Such an understanding can affect the future policy and management procedures in the healthcare industry, the prevention and treatment of diseases. The implementation of the new policy largely depends on the legal doctrine and legislation focused on solving practical problems of technological development.
