The manual sets out the material on the course "Fundamentals of Robotics". The basic concepts and definitions of robots and robotics (mouth), their classification, areas of application and types of mouth are given. The structure, kinematics, the accuracy of positioning and the productivity of industrial robots (PR) are considered. Mechanisms for the capture of objects with the calculation of the necessary capture effort are presented. The justification and selection of drives, information and sensory systems, as well as control systems pr. Examples of the use of industrial robots on basic technological operations and as service equipment are given: loading-unloading of technological machines and lines, transportation, accumulation and spatial orientation of objects. In addition, examples of use of PR in extreme conditions are given: in vacuum, at high depths, at high and low temperatures, with increased radiation, in explosive and fire hazardous situations, etc.
