This work is devoted to the interaction of various types of transport in the modern system of foreign trade.
Delivery of goods by various modes of transport is considered as related transport and logistics activities of several specific commercial enterprises. At the same time, the concept of logistics is interpreted as a systemic integration of the activities of commercial and state structures of various profiles to achieve the ultimate goal of the contract of sale in relation to the delivery of goods to the destination.
The monograph is widely covered by the author’s rich practical experience in the implementation of the transport factor in foreign trade, the inextricable logistics connection of the sale of goods and their delivery is shown.
In addition, along with traditional modes of transport, the need and importance of intermodal transport as a system of mixed transportation that have received legal support abroad and are still poorly practiced in our country are considered.
