Mathematical models for carbon and alloyed structural steels have been developed, reflecting the influence of various factors on the characteristics of the quality of the surface of the cutting of products from sheet steel rolling of various thicknesses. The possibilities of comprehensive optimization of high -precision processing modes have been investigated to achieve minimal roughness, orthogonality and the formation of the necessary zone of thermal influence. A series of laser and gas -plasma complexes for cutting sheet steel rolling and welding of metal structures is proposed.
