The issues of the device and design of active-reactive shells for modern artillery complexes equipped with direct-flow airborne-reactive fuel engines (PVR on TT) are set out. The thermodynamic foundations of the functioning and indicators of shell PVR on the TT, the fuel used for them, as well as the purpose and principle of operation of the gas generator circuit of the PVR TT, are considered. The prospects of increasing the firing range of artillery ammunition are shown by using solid fuel power plants.
