The manual considers the current state of development of fuel systems of ship diesel engines of all types and dimensions. Along with traditional fuel supply systems, considerable attention is paid to systems with hydraulic drives of high -pressure pumps and accumulators of the Common Rail type. Theoretical aspects of the fuel supply processes in modern injection systems are considered. Attention was paid to the issues of increasing economic and environmental indicators by improving fuel supply, using gas fuel, as well as by supplying water to the engine space.
