Some titanium thin -walled layered structures used in aerospace equipment are considered. Original methods of fractographic and metallographic studies of the physicochemical state of surfaces, microstructure and topography of the destruction of titanium alloys and diffusion-welding compounds are given. The laws of the influence of the microstructure of titanium alloys on their high -temperature creep, mechanical properties and topography of the surfaces of destruction are given. Fractiographic signs and kinetic patterns of the formation of the interaction of titanium with the residual gases of the vacuum space in the conditions of high -temperature heating were identified.
