The possibility of exothermic welding of small steel casting defects is shown. The composition of the termite shichta has been developed, the design of the foundry form for placing the shihta was proposed, the calculation methodology of this form is given. The influence of the components of the screen, the features of the structure of the foundry and parameters of the surfacing mode on the quality of the melted metal, have been investigated. The version of the process of brewing defects, which can be used in mass production, is described. The proposed technology compared with arc surfacing can reduce the complexity of the process by 1.5 times and reduces electricity consumption.
