This book is a fourth part of the author’s essays, continuing the publication of a series of articles on the history of Russian heat power industry.
Based on the study of the original sources, technical and organizational details of the creation of the first thermal power plant in Russia at the 3rd state power station of Leningrad were considered. The circle of participants in this work was outlined and the objects served by thermal power plants (residential buildings, baths, Obukhov Hospital) were outlined under the guidance of engineer Ginter L. L., its biography and design are included in the description. The book discusses the date of the heating, since the essay is published On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the heatification in our country
