The issues of energy conservation in the electrical and heat power industry, the use of non-traditional and renewable energy sources, its accounting and implementation are considered. Legislative and regulatory foundations of energy conservation are described, practical methods of implementing energy-saving policies at industrial enterprises, housing and communal services (housing and communal services), transport, agriculture and budgetary organizations are described, economic and environmental advantages of the introduction of rational methods of using fuel and energy resources (TER) were disclosed . Recommendations are given to further improve the use of TEER. It is intended for students of technical universities of energy and environmental specialties, specialists of budgetary organizations, housing and communal services involved in energy conservation issues, will be useful to power engineers of industrial enterprises, transport, agriculture, teachers and students of personnel retraining courses
