The technique of writing and the requirements for final qualification work in the areas of the preparation of "agricultural engineers" (profile "Electrical equipment and electrical technology for agriculture"), "Electric power and electrical engineering" (profile "power supply") are described.
Brief information on the theory and reference materials necessary for the design of comprehensive electrification and automation of agricultural production is presented. Recommendations are stated on the selection of electrical equipment and electrical drives of agro -industrial enterprises. The issues related to the calculation of electrical loads, short -circuit currents, the choice of transformer substations and the determination of energy losses in electrical networks of agricultural purposes are considered. Examples of solutions to typical problems are given. A description of the program for automated calculation of distribution networks up to 35 square meters is given.
