The proposed textbook includes minimal information sufficient to master the basics of designing a direct current electric motor, and consists of three main sections. The first of them contains a calculated form of the project, consisting of electromagnetic and thermal engine calculations, calculating and constructing the working characteristics and parameters that determine the nature of the transition processes. The second section provides an example of the engine calculation and a summary of all its parameters, which allows you to begin to implement the graphic part of the project. The third section is an example of designing an explanatory note and drawings.
Applications contain reference information on the design of the project, options for design tasks, a list of relevant GOST for electromashine and electrical engineering and a reference atlas with illustrative material, as well as a list of sections of the Electric machines necessary to protect the project.
The manual is intended for students of secondary professional educational institutions studying the discipline Electric machines.
