The textbook is devoted to the presentation of the main issues related to the construction of machines and mechanisms, based on their functions, models, functional parameters and structure. Considerable attention is paid to the dynamics of machines and the technological system, including a metal-cutting machine-conjunction machine-tool-processed workpiece. The main provisions of the applied theory of mechanical vibrations are presented. The most important aspects of the theory of oscillations are considered in the appendix to the technological system for machining harvesting parts of machines.
