A description of the original methods and means of quality control of LEDs based on heterostructures with quantum pits according to electrophysical and electro -optical characteristics. Particular attention is paid to the methods of diagnosing defects of light-emitting ingan/gan hetero-structures according to the static and dynamic parameters of electrolyuminescence and a photoelectric response measured in the local areas of the LED crystal. Models of degradation of LEDs based on INgan/GAN Getero-structures are considered, taking into account the heterogeneous distribution of defects in the active field.
The monograph can be useful to scientists, teachers of higher technical educational institutions, graduate students of the corresponding specialties, as well as engineers and technologists engaged in the development of light -emitting diodes and devices based on them.
