The training manual presents basic concepts and definitions in the design of electronic modules of the second and third levels of structural hierarchy. General information is given about the supporting structures of the RES, their varieties and materials used for their manufacture. The requirements for the layout of the RES blocks, the tasks of designing intra- and inter-block electrical connections, the problems of ensuring mechanical stability and normal thermal regimes of the RES. The design features of RES for various purposes are given. Serious attention in the manual is paid to the problems of protecting the RES from external influencing factors and the tasks of constructing RES, taking into account the requirements of ergonomics and technical aesthetics.
