The structure of the wells is considered, the factors that determine the choice of their design are described. An analysis of possible complications arising in the drilling process has been proposed. The reasons for their appearance, the types of complications and the dangers associated with them are considered in detail. Methodological recommendations are given regarding the order of actions when complications are detected. The measures that should be taken to control the well during gas -neft -supply, to maintain the stability of the well barrel and maintain the efficiency of production when detecting absorptions, are disclosed. Examples of complications from domestic and foreign drilling practice with their detailed analysis are given.
