This is the second edition of the book dedicated to adaptive relay protection. It includes several new analytical methods in the field of relay protection, but it should be emphasized that most of them have not yet found embodiment in practice in relay protection projects.
This book remains research work and a reference book. In essence, the problem indicated at the end of each chapter is often the formulation of the topic for the study. Some tasks are quite complicated, and each of them leaves a place for individual interpretations and developments. Therefore, the book does not propose to solve these problems and their solution is left to readers. The book is intended for undergraduates and graduate students in electricity specialties, researchers working in this field, and for everyone who wants to understand the new technology
