The monograph sets out an approach for a quantitative analysis of the influence of the chemical structure of linear and mesh polymers, nanoparticles and crystallinity on the mechanical and barrier properties of nanocomposites. The polymers under consideration are binders for obtaining nanocomposites, and the introduced nanoparticles are considered as components of the molecular grid. The chemical structure of the modifiers is taken into account with which the surface of the introduced nanoparticles is triggered. For partial-criterional polymallites, crystallites are considered as components of the molecular grid, and the properties of such polymers are determined by the concentration and size of crystallites. Computer programs are described that allow calculations of the described properties in automatic mode. To assess the permeability of water through polymer membranes, both a direct problem associated with the assessment of barrier properties based on the chemical structure of polymers, and the reverse task associated with the conduct of a computer synthesis of polymers with a given magnitude of permeability, is solved.
