Calculation of cutting modes for machining operations

The tasks of choosing and calculating the cutting modes for operations of single -position and one -instrument -based mechanical processing: external longitudinization with attacking and prefabricated carbide cutters, turning incisors made of super -hard materials, processing holes with axial instruments, milling surfaces with milling cutters of various types. The algorithm and sequence of calculation of forces and moment during milling by end cutters are given. Equations of cutting characteristics have been developed. Methodological instructions are set out to complete homework on the discipline “Design of machining operations”.
