The manual is devoted to the consideration of the basics of the construction of oil and gas wells in the development of hydrocarbons. A description of the main stages of drilling, testing and arrangement of oil and gas wells is given. Some aspects of general and oil industry geology are briefly set out. The basic elements of the drilling tool (chisel, drilling pipes, slaughter engines) are described. Particular attention is paid to domestic and foreign classifications of balloon chisels. New designs of drilling chisels, their features and areas of application are given. The processes of inclined and horizontal drilling are described, as well as innovative technical solutions for drilling in areas with complications. A review of gym complexes used to master the technologies of drilling operations is given.
