The Aviation Encyclopedic Dictionary is the collective work of authors from leading Russian aviation scientific centers, design bureaus, production enterprises and civil aviation organizations, coordinated by the working group of aircraft manufacturers.
Aviation terminology was systematized by the vocabulary editors, articles on the theory, data of applied research, and the aspects of aviation technology and materials science were highlighted, the design of aircraft, its tests, maintenance and repair, documentation, operation, infrastructure, aviation Sports, historical excursions were held, and also told about outstanding creators of aircraft, engines, aviation weapons, devices and assemblies.
The dictionary contains about 2800 articles and about 2500 photos, drawings and diagrams.
