Automated control of technological systems and processes: Textbook

Theoretical and practical aspects of the management of engineering production facilities are considered. The conceptual control scheme, types of control objects from the point of view of external influences, signals and methods of controlling various objects are presented. For the presented types of objects, discrete and continuous control systems are considered, microprocessor control systems are separately described. Management systems based on programmable logical controllers are described. The classification is given and the elements for creating various control systems are described in detail: sensors, input converters, control systems and devices, output converters, drives and executive mechanisms.
