Basic concepts, terms and definitions in the field of reliability are given, methods of calculating and predicting indicators of the reliability of technical objects, including technological systems. The issues of statistical modeling and calculation of the reliability of technological systems for machining surfaces of machine parts according to quality parameters are considered. The methodology for constructing and analyzing statistical models of the formation of quality indicators during studies of parametric reliability of technological systems and determining its indicators by the method of statistical tests based on the analysis of the results of machine experiment on simulation models.
