The manual is devoted to the analysis of the process of orientation in space when piloting the aircraft both in both visual and dashboard when using the spatial position of the straight line (All -Russian Assembly) and the reverse (STS) indication of the roll for the instrumental display. At the same time, the role of a spatial image in the structure of the figurative and conceptual model of the pilot is revealed as a system-forming factor, which, on the one hand, provides, on the one hand, the effectiveness of the perception of piloting and navigation information, and on the other, minimizing errors when reading it and decisions on the action of control levers. The composition of the elements and the structure of the figurative and conceptual model of the pilot (and the operational figurative-conceptual model of the “flight image”) when stabilizing the flight modes and during maneuvering, as well as the structure of operational images used to control roll and tanga are analyzed in detail. Recommendations are given on the withdrawal of the aircraft from a complex spatial position, as well as on organizing the processes of perception and processing of piloting and navigation information for the timely parrying of a distorted (erroneous) reflection by the psyche of the position of the aircraft in space (illusions of the spatial position)
