This book is devoted to the history of the legendary high -speed bomber of the SB, created under the leadership of A.N. Tupolev. This advanced aircraft clearly demonstrated to the whole world a high level achieved by the Soviet aviation industry. The completely original design made it possible to overtake the fighters.
The author managed to collect a lot of materials about the design, tests and deployment of the production of SB, its modernization and improvement. The development of the Air Force and combat use in Spain, China, Hassan and Khalkhin-Gole, in the war with Finland is described in detail.
