Throughout grades 1 to 4, students systematize the basic concepts: 1st grade 'Fascinating Mathematics: Numbers and Signs', 2nd grade 'Fascinating Mathematics: Arithmetic Operations', 3rd grade 'Fascinating Mathematics: Expressions and Problems', 4th grade 'Fascinating Mathematics: Expressions, Problems, and Equations'. The guide includes tasks aimed at: - familiarizing with numbers and arithmetic operation signs, comparison signs, - familiarizing with number properties, - providing mathematical concepts: interrelation, relation, regularity, - developing attention, thinking, memory, creative abilities, - forming the skill of proficient writing, - introducing children to effective forms of verbal communication, - expanding students' geometric representations, knowledge, and skills, - making mathematics teaching interesting for children. Completing the tasks in the guide involves group work, independent work, and pair work. There is also room for creative work. Several tasks are aimed at the student's independent choice. From 2nd to 4th grade, the guide includes engaging non-standard tasks 'Game-Competition'. Each game is evaluated in points. For each correctly completed task, the student receives 5 points. At the end of each issue, there is a table of the results obtained. And at the end of the entire lesson - the total number of points. Based on this table, the winner of the game for one lesson can be determined. At the end of the guide, there is a summary table of the results obtained - the total number of points.
