Various modes and technologies for managing electricity flows and issues of increasing the efficiency of power systems related to its main equipment are given. The need and the possibility of a comprehensive solution to the problem of transforming electric power under intellectual power lines (Smart Grids) using the modern development of equipment and primarily power electronics devices is shown.
