This method of ENTP applications is devoted to discussing the problems of the current-theoretical description of the thermodynamic properties of NTP. The material of this volume is significantly complemented and further discloses the presentation of this problem, already given in the introductory volume of the encyclopedia in low-temperature plasma physics.
Despite the fact that the material of this volume is attributed to the series in (reference materials), this volume, along with a truly large number of reference material, is largely devoted to the discussion of fundamental issues of the thermodynamic description of NTP. Without pretending to complete the teams presented in this volume of authors, in comparison with the entire set of authors who are fruitful in this direction, the editors of the compilers tried to fully reflect the main problems of the thermodynamics of NTP and the main theoretical approaches to the description of these properties. The inevitable consequence of such aspiration was that a number of topical problems of the thermodynamic description of NTP were reflected immediately in several articles of various authors who develop various theoretical approaches to their solution. This allows, according to the compilers of volumes, more fully and versatile to disclose the essence of the problems discussed
