The book-album published to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Air Force is devoted to the history of development and the description of the system of application of identification signs on the sides of aircraft who were in service with the Russian Air Force / USSR in 1912-2012.
The system of standards for applying tactical numbers and identification signs is described in detail, as well as numerous informal inscriptions and drawings used at different stages of the Air Force.
