This educational and methodological manual consists of a variety of fragments taken by the author-compiler from music of different countries and eras. The main task is to create a collection in which the best music featuring composers using melismas is presented. There are 4 main sections: trills, mordents, gruppettos, and turns, as well as combinations of these melismas.
The manual can be used during the study of the elementary music theory course and as additional material for classroom and home practice.
