In the course of practical experiments, the basics of electronics are considered and it is shown how to design, to debug and make electronic devices at home. The material is stated sequentially from simple to complex, starting with simple electric current experiments to the creation of complex devices using transistors and microcontrollers.
The basic laws of electronics are described, as well as the principles of the functioning of various electronic components. It is shown how to make a security alarm, Christmas lights, electronic jewelry, a sound converting device, a code lock, etc. Switching instructions and more than 500 visual drawings and photographs are given.
In the second edition, the text of the book has been substantially redesigned, more affordable electronic components are used in the experiments, new projects have been added, including with the Arduino controller.
