The main sections of modern electrochemical processing technology are presented. The fundamental principles of the theory are given, the processing characteristics of the most common steels and alloys are described, and the regularities of forming the output technological parameters of the method are considered. Special attention is paid to the latest trends in the development of this technology: pulse electrochemical processing with electrode oscillation, electrochemical processing with microsecond and bipolar high-density current pulses. Mathematical models of promising technological schemes are presented. For students studying the course "Machines and Technologies of Highly Efficient Processing Processes" in the direction of bachelor's training 15.03.01 "Mechanical Engineering", as well as engineers specializing in 15.03.05 "Design and Technological Support of Mechanical Engineering Productions", profile "Mechanical Engineering Technology" (bachelor's degree), 15.05.01 "Design of Technological Machines and Complexes", specialization "Design of Technological Complexes for Mechanical Assembly Productions" (specialist degree).
