The training manual proposes the use of a competency -based approach to the preparation of an electric welder on automatic and semi -automatic machines.
The main processes of automated and mechanized welding with melting are considered. Information is given on the influence of the welding mode parameters on the shape and size of the weld. The device and principle of operation of equipment for automated and mechanized welding are described. Recommendations are given on choosing a welding and equipment mode for performing specific welded joints.
