In front of you is a set of educational cards for speech development, in which your little one will find fun pictures and tongue twisters. They will help the child pronounce complex sounds, feel the rhythm, improve pronunciation, and allow for a fun time with parents.
How to use the cards?
Tongue twisters are special speech exercises designed to practice the skill of pronouncing sounds or their combinations. They consist of two parts: the first involves repeating the syllable three times, by articulating which, the child automates the articulation skill. The second part is a short phrase that rhymes with the first part.
Thus, the last word in the phrase always ends with the stressed syllable repeatedly pronounced by the child. For example: "Ol-ol-ol - we set the table." It is desirable to repeat tongue twisters 2-3 times a day for 3-4 minutes.
When the child masters the correct pronunciation of tongue twisters, you can make the exercises more challenging.
Gradually speed up or slow down the pronunciation.
Emphasize the stressed syllable, for example: "Tu-tu-tu - the floor needs a little cleaning."
Pause the word with the emphasized sound.
When pronouncing tongue twisters, pay attention to unfamiliar words to the child and try to explain their meaning.
