The manual discusses the theories that have made a fundamental contribution to the history of sociology of the 20th century. This textbook does not pretend to be complete and does not even cover all the most outstanding representatives of classical sociology. The main attention in it is focused on those sociological theories that create the most representative picture of the development of sociology in the 20th century, indicate the main problems and ideological complexes.
The proposed work, as it seems to us, will not only help to make up for the deficiency in the educational literature on the history of sociology, but will also draw attention to the study of new, previously insufficiently studied works and theories of modern Western sociologists.
Materials of the manuals were used in those seminars and lectures on the history of sociology, which are read at the sociological faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Russia as an important actor in the system of international relations, to evaluate its national and geopolitical interests. The collection includes articles of different years devoted to the history and modern problems of Russia and Europe. Some of them are first published in Russian and are of interest to historians, political scientists and sociologists, as well as for students studying the relevant disciplines.
The book is of interest not only for scientists, but also for all those interested in the problems of modern international relations
