The book is devoted to the study of trust as a phenomenon of social reality and its role in the mechanism of social self -regulation. The essence and factors of changes in reality in a crisis are considered. The trends and contradictions of crisis changes in the areas of interpersonal and family interactions, labor, education, and authorities are analyzed, and the regulatory function of trust in these areas of life is substantiated. The features of trust and distrust in self -regulation of the contradiction between traditional and modern in changing social reality are investigated. Ways to increase confidence in Russian society in a crisis are offered.
