The manual on the theory and practice of translation from the Polish language into Russian, and from Russian to Polish was prepared for senior students of the Moscow Pedagogical State University, students in the field of Polish Philology (qualification of undergraduate) This manual contains examples of translated literature of different genres, helping to understand the essence of the art of translation of texts, including artistic, created in Polish or Russian. The manual with specific examples shows how, using linguistic means, the “transfer” of images from language to language occurs.
The manual is recommended for philologists-polonists. It is necessary, in our opinion, to all studying the Polish language, teachers, graduate students and researchers of research institutes of linguistic-historical and cultural profile
