The book "Traces and layers of time" belongs to the history of concepts and at the same time has a pronounced interdisciplinary character. She turns to historians, philosophers and philologists. The philosopher here, without any doubt, will be interested in the analysis of the epistemology of the trace. The philologist, of course, will pay attention to the parallels between history and literature. The attention of the historian, of course, attracts the source -master role of the trace. But the simple reader will open access to a complex topic, which is the topic of traces of the past. The latter are present in the life of any person. Any of us constantly pushes traces, discovers and opens them. Traces are what surrounds us, unites, provokes and shares. It is impossible to ignore or ignore them with attention. Isn"t it time for the reader to get to know them better?
