Many in our time are asked by questions regarding the existence of mankind in the future. Are there the limits of the number of people? How can (and is it necessary to regulate this number? Under what conditions can world hunger come? How can a global disaster be avoided when overpopulation of the planet?
But these issues did not arise today - they occupied the minds of scientists and philosophers and 100 and 200 years ago. T. R. Maltus in his work “Experience on the Law of Population” (1798) was one of the first to formalize his fears on this occasion.
