Social structure of provincial society

The monograph provides an empirical description of the structure of the Russian provincial society at the local level. Based on phenomenological criteria, a typology of local societies was carried out. The social structure is described in the aspects of the territorial, socio-economic, socio-professional, related, status and local socio-political structure of each of the established types of local societies. The presented results are based on the author’s field research and cover the period from the 1980s to the 2020s.
