Caesar Antonovich Kui (1835 - 1918) - Russian composer and music critic, member of the “mighty pile” and the Belyaevsky circle. In 1896, he actually published the first "encyclopedia" on the history of the Russian romance. His work is invaluable, although it reflects some author"s bias.
