This manual fully complies with the federal state educational standard (second generation) for elementary school.
The basis of the dictionary is the words that are most often found in textbooks in the Russian language for grades 1-4 and are recommended for memorization. The dictionary also presents words that relatively recently entered the active dictionary of schoolchildren.
The dictionary is built in alphabetical order. In all words, the stress is indicated and the form of the plural is indicated, the form of the genitive or creative case. Writing words complies with all the rules of modern Russian spelling.
By order No. 699 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the textbooks of the publishing house "Examination" were allowed for use in general educational organizations
