The textbook is included in the line of basic general education, which was processed in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of basic education, M. T. Baranov, S. G. Barkhudarov and others. The updated textbook realizes the idea of integrated language and speech, which involves the formation of linguistic and communicative competencies, as well as attracting a large volume of cultural information. The content was processed in accordance with the PA (added paragraphs and tasks, in particular, the paragraph of the passwords, the dictionary of paronyms for preparing for the OGE), the formulations of concepts and rules are clarified, some texts and illustrations are replaced, new topics, design and research tasks, and tasks of increased were added. The level of complexity, work in pairs, group tasks, applications (dictionaries, analysis samples) are updated. A new art design, an improved methodological apparatus of a textbook contribute to the optimization of the educational process
