The 4th grade textbook completes the Russian language course of primary school. The course is based on the idea of implementing the objectively existing unity of two components of the language: language and speech systems. The main task of the textbook is to teach to competently communicate in oral and written form. This task is implemented by the inclusion of students in research activities, in active forms of knowledge. The materials of the textbook contribute to the development of communicative literacy, information culture, the education of the ability to learn, independently obtaining knowledge, the formation of mutual and self-control, educational reflection.
