The textbook on the Russian language for the ninth grade was created in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education, the concept of teaching the Russian language and literature in the Russian Federation, and the Russian language.
The presented manual makes it possible for nine -graders to fully prepare for the exam in the Russian language, develops interest in the subject, instills taste in linguistic creativity, connects subject information on linguistics with other spheres of science, culture, and social practice. At the center of study in the ninth grade, the authors put the topic "Language and Society", focusing on the practical use of knowledge and skills in various speech situations. The central topic in the manual is sequentially considered from the point of view of phonetics, graphics, morphemics, word formation, vocabulary, syntax and culture of written and oral speech.
The material of each paragraph is divided into two parts - theory and practice. The theory section includes definitions of the necessary concepts, rules, information about outstanding linguists and language phenomena, a popular exposition of linguistic theories.
The peculiarity of the presented manual is a rejection of a peremptory approval of a particular approach to linguistic facts. About everything that can be given not as an axiom, but as a problem, it is proposed to reflect. Of course, to memorize the rules and rewrite texts, inserting the missing letters and punctuation marks will also have to do it, because there is no teaching without difficulty.
