The book sets out the foundations of a new explanatory-subject science about the ordering of social being called nomology (from the Greek word "nomos", meaning "orderliness", as opposed to chaos, as arbitrariness) The initial position outside the Hegelian-Marxist nomology is the idea that the present and future of social being is streamlined by the reflection of the entire past of being in public memory, both conscious and subconscious. In the initial chapter, this situation develops to a speculative, harmonious, consistent and internally consistent theory about commemorative methods of reproduction, suppression, renewal and restoration of social being.
